This course supports teachers at ISH in embedding, or further strengthening, formative assessment strategies in their everyday classroom practice. While it is designed primarily for new teachers at ISH, the course is also suitable for ‘returning’ teachers who wish to refine and deepen their formative assessment practice.

Participants will explore ISH’s shared approach to formative assessment, engage with curated resources from the Formative Assessment @ ISH Portal, and plan, teach, and reflect on a lesson that intentionally incorporates one or more of the five key formative assessment strategies.

Introduction to Bullet Journaling with Karolina: The Bullet Journal Method is a mindfulness practice that’s designed as a productivity system. Thanks to ISH Academy, you have a unique opportunity to join our first official Bullet Journal course that will be provided by soon-to-be Bullet Journal Trainer - Karolina! 

In this course you will learn the ins and outs of the Bullet Journal Method, as well as the philosophy behind it. The aim of the course is to help you organize your daily life (with all its challenges), learn to set up realistic goals and actually follow through on them, improve your focus and give you more control and peace of mind than ever before. 

Don’t be fooled by the name - the content of the course is suitable for everyone, whether you are new to bullet journaling and you are curious about this method, or you are a season bullet journal practitioner and would like to give your practice a new twist. 

To ensure that everyone can join in, we will be providing a mix of online and live sessions. Don’t wait too long: The first online session will appear in the ISH Academy environment on Wednesday, 21st of January and the first live session will take place on Wednesday, 4th of February, from 15:30 to 16:30. Facilitated in English and Dutch, the course will guide educators in understanding the DigCompEdu framework, implementing it strategically, measuring progress, and engaging stakeholders to future-proof their digital literacy practices. Participants will also utilize the SELFIEforTEACHERS self-reflection tool. This comprehensive program aims to empower educators within the Stichting Rijnlands Lyceum network to enhance their digital competencies and pedagogical strategies.
