Step 1 ยท Add text
Start with the text you need
Text, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument or a PDF with selectable text. Maximum 50 MB. Up to 200 slides or PDF pages and 1,000,000 extracted characters, including the file name.
Options
Already set. Change them only if you need to.
Your request is checked together with the text. Keep it general.
Check a list of file names
Paste one file name per line. Each name is offered for replacement as a whole. Original files are not renamed.
Help it find names: add a class list (optional)
A class list improves name detection. Choose a CSV with first_name and last_name columns. It stays in this tab.
File names are included in the check. Original files are not renamed.
Detection can miss details. Check names, addresses, dates of birth and context that could identify someone. Follow school guidance before sharing text with an AI service.
Step 2 ยท Check details
Check the whole text
Highlighted details will be replaced. Add anything missed, including a whole sentence if the context identifies someone.
Select text in the preview and add it, or type a missed detail below. Matches include every occurrence.
Adjust replacements
Uncheck only if this detail should remain in the text you share.
| Replace? | Detail | Type |

Step 2 ยท Check columns
Choose what happens to each column
The first row has personal details, so it may not be a header row. Those details are replaced by codes in the result. If your sheet has no header row, add one and open it again.
Codes are not anonymous. Columns together, such as group, date and time, can still point to someone. Keep only the columns your question needs.

- Open a school-approved AI service in another tab.
- Paste the copied request and text. Keep the replacement codes unchanged.
- Copy its reply and return here to restore the details.
Keep this tab open. Closing or reloading it clears the restoration key. Nothing is saved automatically.
Your cleaned sheet is ready. Check the summary, then download it and add it to a school-approved AI service.

Keep this tab open: it holds the key that turns codes back into names. Closing or reloading it clears the key. Nothing is saved automatically.
Step 4 ยท Restore reply
Restore the details in the reply
The codes from this session will be replaced with the original details. Check the final wording and who it refers to before using it.
