Classroom tools: quick starts

Start with ISH Class

1. Open Class. Use your school Google account if asked to sign in.
2. Choose the tool you need: Timer, Groups, Picker, Seating, Flow, Poll or Goal jar.
3. Set up the activity and display it to your class. The full help guide explains class lists and saved settings.

Start with one routine, such as a countdown for paired discussion. Check the help guide before moving saved class lists to another device.

Start with ISH Space

1. Open Space and use Staff sign in with your school account.
2. Create or open a space and add a clear question or task for your class.
3. Show the six-character space code. Students open Space and enter the code to join.

Check the sharing settings for your activity before inviting students. Agree on a display-name format and give students a clear first task.

Start with ISH Quiz

1. Open Quiz and choose Teacher Login. Use your school account when prompted.
2. Create or open a quiz, then host the game.
3. Show the game code. Students open Quiz and choose Join a Quiz, without creating an account.

Try a short quiz first: one question to start a lesson, or a few questions to check what the class understood.

Choosing the right account

Choose your @ishthehague.nl Google account when a tool asks you to sign in. Each tool handles its own sign-in and access.

Learn is the separate Moodle course area. Its course access and progress stay in Moodle.
